For my project I decided to make an endless runner game. The gameplay goal was to make the core mechanic of jumping feel as satisfying as possible for the player. To that end, the player is given some leeway in jump timing. The height of the jump can be controlled by holding down the space bar, some coyote time is used to make late jumps possible, and there is a slight buffer zone near the ground where the player can jump without touching the actual ground.

The main goal for the player is to run and jump as far as possible without falling to death. There are some challenges in the form of variable platform heights and separation distances, obstacles that can slow the player down, and falling platforms.

I worked on the project alone using some assets from the Unity Asset store.
